CHARGE(S): 9 counts of bribery (soliciting and accepting bribes while in office)

POTENTIAL PUNISHMENT: 45 years in prison

VENUE: Hamilton County, Cincinnati, Ohio

ALLEGATION: 44-year-old Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicle employee masterminded "the largest fake identification ring in Ohio's BMV history." Defendant accepted monetary bribes for fake ID's. Defendant altered names, dates of birth and social security numbers of hundreds of individuals from Ohio, Tennessee, Indiana and Kentucky.

DISPOSITION: Mr. Bennett sought post-indictment pre-trial dismissal on grounds of insufficient evidence.

RESULT: All charges dismissed
