ALLEGATION: Mr. Bennett's teenage, female client broke out adult male victim's apartment window in an attempt to break into his apartment. Thereafter, while arguing with the victim in his parked car, Mr. Bennett's client stabbed the victim in the chest and back purposely causing victim's death. Mr. Bennett agreed that his client was provoked by the victim or acted in self defense.
RESULT: Mr. Bennett's client plead guilty to a reduced county of voluntary manslaughter. She only was ordered to serve 6 years in the Ohio Department of Corrections and was credited for more than 3 months mail time served before imposition of sentence.
