CHARGE(S): Physician charged with 5 counts of sexual battery, 3 counts of felonious sexual penetration and 4 counts of gross sexual imposition involving seven female patients.

VENUE: Hamilton County, Cincinnati, Ohio

ALLEGATION: General Practitioner sexually molested seven female patients during exams at his office by grabbing, squeezing and touching their breasts and penetrating their vaginas without a legitimate medical reason. Prosecutors received complaints from a total of 19 women.

DISPOSITION: Trial to court

RESULT: Dr. Kegler was found not guilty of all counts of sexual battery, not guilty of all counts of felonious sexual penetration (the most serious charges carrying a potential penalty of 52 years in prison), and not guilty of 2 counts of gross sexual imposition. Dr. Kegler was found guilty of 2 counts of gross sexual imposition and sentenced to 18 months in prison (Promised early release after the completion of 6 months). Dr. Kegler was released from prison after completing 6 months of his sentence.
